Stress Testing

A supervised cardiac test that evaluates how your heart performs during physical activity and helps identify potential heart-related concerns.

A stress test evaluates how your heart responds to physical activity. During the test, you will exercise on a treadmill while your heart rate, heart rhythm, blood pressure, and other measurements are monitored.

Stress testing may be recommended to investigate symptoms such as chest discomfort or shortness of breath, assess your heart’s response to exercise, or help identify signs of reduced blood flow to the heart. The results provide valuable information to help your healthcare provider assess your cardiovascular health and determine whether further evaluation is needed.
